Spring is coming!

What a beautiful day today! With temperatures nearing 60 degrees, it certainly feels like Spring is getting closer! And we are ready! Our shelves and stock room are full - literally to the ceiling with pool chemicals, floats, vacuuming supplies, and products for fun in the sun. Come join us this Thursday evening from 5 to 7 for our Business After Hours, sponsored by the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. We will have light finger foods, beer, and wine. Stop in and see what's new!

February 2012 - Spring is in the air!

Even with a few snowflakes floating around out there, Spring definately is in the air! Our winter has been so mild, all of our snow is melting, our driveway is turning to mud, and people are buying pools! We are looking forward to a wonderful Spring and Summer season!

We are working hard to update our Facebook presence and our website, making it easier for you to stay in touch with us and easier for you to find what you need.

Our store hours are Monday - Friday, 10am to 4pm, and Saturday, 10am - 2pm. We have a running hot tub in our store for you to come and check out, along with plenty of hot tub chemicals and supplies. We do free water testing, so if you are having trouble keeping your water clear, bring in a water sample. We will do a computerized water analysis including clear instructions on how to remedy your water problems.

Our list is starting to get longer with folks that want to have their pool installed or worked on first thing in the spring! We can't wait to get started! In the meantime, check out our website (www.sunshinepoolsmaine.com) and start dreaming of how we can make your backyard a summer paradise!

Mother's Day weekend has come and gone and it's time to get that pool open once and for all. We have all your supplies for keeping and maintaining your pool for optimum health and excercise all summer long. Our season is off to a great start with one Radiant pool already installed and one inground in process as I am writing. We are excited about how a new pool can change a family's lifestyle. It's a sunny day here at Sunshine Pools, with the ice melting outside and only 286 hours until the first day of Spring! We are ramping up for a terrific pool season with deliveries of new spring and summer products this week and next. Preparations are underway for our 3rd annual Chemical School to be held the last week in April. Stay tuned for details! Wow, it's snowing again! What a crazy winter we are having! Snow up to our knees outside but before we know it, it will all melt away and be spring again!
1104 hours until the first day of spring!!!
A snow day is a perfect day to stay home by the fire and update this blog, our website, and reach out to our friends and loyal customers.
We just returned from the Atlantic City Pool and Spa show where we learned about some new and exciting products that we will be including in our store. More details to follow later!
We are in the process of planning our 3rd annual chemical school. Just like last year, we will be holding the school on two evenings; one at LaFleur's and one at the Comfort Inn.
Our hot tubs are on super clearance waiting for a new home...come and pick the one that's right for you!

Summer has arrived!

So the first day of summer (6/21) came and went with such a flurry of activity that we didn't celebrate it as we should have. Now, we are celebrating with a new post to the blog and some updated pictures on our website that I am sure that you will enjoy! We have had a great start to the pool season with warmer-than-normal temperatures and very little rain. This has caused many to finally realize that it is worth it to have their existing pool renovated or have a new pool in their backyard. Many are seeing the value of spending money on their own stay-at-home vacations rather than on the go-away-for-a-week vacations. Happily, we provide the services to make backyard dreams a reality!
